I read this collection in one sitting. I had wanted to for a long time. It is deeply raw and vulnerable but also fiercely hopeful. I will be returning to so many of these poems. The author makes me feel like I can be a poet too, like I already am one. I want everyone (who wouldn't be triggered) to read this collection, and to talk about it. I believe it is deeply human, acsessible, and important.

Worst book of poetry I’ve ever read…. Some good lines but not worth the (short amount of) time. Good for black out poetry lol.  Also for being so graphic about R she sure has a hard time saying vagina…

Milk & Honey is a collection of poems that deserves a permanent spot on a coffee table, but not because it isn't memorable. Kaur includes an abundancy of lessons in the form of prose that the brain naturally cannot commit to by memory in such detail. This book is a woman's Bible —it is to be picked up from time to time in order to be dissected, sparking new revelations about womanhood, relationships, and personal power each time it is revisited.

J'ai beaucoup aimé, les poèmes étaient vraiment très beau et j'adore la moral de ce livre ‘mon corps, mon choix’.

I went into this book blind, and I was not expecting that. Towards the beginning it was just kind of okay but a bit towards the end there were a couple of good quotes.

I enjoyed reading most of these because a lot of them were powerful. But it came with wading through more basic ones.

The style may be off putting for some people since it’s a more modern take on poetry, but I think it’s written in a way that makes it more accessible for everyone, including those who may just be getting into poetry (like me).

Overall, I don’t regret reading, but I think I’m going to forget about most of it.
