Kinda silly and overwrought, like if Peyton from One Tree Hill wrote poetry. I liked the drawings.
it's ok. too much sex for my liking. some powerful poems in the hurt psrt but I didn't relate much to the sensual loving part.
Some of these poems really hit home with me. Absolutely stunning.
I am coming back to this one to write a review. This really stuck with me overnight. Normally poetry like this doesn't unless it annoys me. But this was actually really moving. I recommend this for people who aren't particularly fond of poetry but want to give it a go.

I have mixed feelings towards this. This wasn't bad, but some parts felt shallow and plain. Although I did enjoy a few poems this wasn't what I was truly expecting. I was a bit disappointed, but I am still interested in reading more of the author's work.

The book is written so beautifully. I really liked how it had four sections: hurting, loving, breaking, healing.Rupi Kaur I really poured her heart out in this book and she did it in such a beautiful way and I really liked seeing how through the sections she started growing(not necessarily herself but what she hoped she could do). There were moments in this book that I re-read the section or sat there and thought "wow, that was good".I also really liked the drawings. A gorgeous book about loving yourself-especially as a woman- that I think every women should read!
