Well......this book has one of the more disgusting endings I've ever read. Apparently being repeatedly raped in prison cures homophobia and bigotry and leads to true love.....WHO FREAKING KNEW. It really ruins whatever good I could say about the other content. I just can't see past that.
Outside of that...this book was a little boring and just seemed indulgent. Everything left hanging from Book Two is resolved rather quickly so it's like what's left to happen? And when I say quickly I mean within like 10% at the beginning. The only thing left to happen is for Sean and Kaeden to get together and while that's great and you want it to happen, I wish there had been more intense focus on them together and on Kaeden overcoming what had happened to him. It mostly happens off page in time jumps. Ty and Abe are still the sweetest. I can't even remember what Dani/Nigel were doing outside of background band business. Tim's "epiphany" was ridiculous.
*sigh* Was just disappointed even before the gross ending.
