It's always so hard to rate a selection of short stories. In general I liked them though.
Fav stories: Peking Duck, G, Tomorrow.

A bit too Asian girl dates white men & the struggles inherent to this. Like maybe the men weren't white but they sure acted like white men yk. & I'm soooo uninterested in this dynamic if I wanted to explore this I'd explore my direct friendship group lol. Best dynamics were the non romantic ones.

Ling Ma is a great writer, and there were plenty of captivating moments throughout these stories. But overall, I walked away feeling like I didn't "get" most of them. Maybe that's okay.
