This book gripped me from the start. I loved how the characters grew while trying to return home to their families. They had to dig deep and find out what they were capable of and be willing to forgive the ones that wronged them. Well, most of them. It was a clever story.

Great book, almost wish it was longer! Good world building and character building . I wish there was a little bit more description of the wild but I still really enjoyed it.

I loved this book! The MC was enjoyable and I loved Soren and Iric. I’m not very good at predicting things I guess cuz I totally didn’t see Torrin betraying her lol. I loved the ending! Them all finding out Peruxolo wasn’t really a god was an interesting turn. I really like how Tricia writes, excited to pick up another book of hers. She really is good at describing things. I loved this world she created and all the imagery.

I was a bit hesitant at the start of this book... I loved Tricia Levenseller’s other books and I heard some people say that this book doesn’t compare to those. Well I can now say, I totally don’t agree with those people!
After a few pages I was immediately sucked into the story, just like her other books! (It was kinda like coming home but I know how cringey that sounds)
The female lead was a badass character and I absolutely adored her. Even though i’m not really into vikings and all of there mythology, i still enjoyed that aspect in this book!
Tbh, I would totally reread this book in the future!
