I was absolutely hooked by the first book in this series, To Bleed A Crystal Bloom. An easy read with multiple POVs with some more captivating (hello kai) than others. Whilst some blanks were filled in I'm a little sad it didn't keep me awake until 4am like the first book did. Although, that ending... my kindle is still recovering from the glare I fed my screen! 😱

This was such a love hate book. There were times when I hated Orlaith but I always, always loved Rhordyn.

The FMC had this constant back and forth with her decisions and it was frustrating.
How did she even just listen to Cain once and decide to kill Rhor? Like how?
