Almost put this down as the beginning felt a little awkward and forced. While it did suffer from a few sporadic WTF moments, I’m glad I kept going as it overall turned out to be a funny, sweet, emotional, and lovely story. 3.5 that I rounded to 4.

About halfway in I finally started enjoying this book. The first half was cliché, predictable, and in my opinion the characters were unlovable. However, after some events/situation changes it finally became captivating
