A lovely, loose adaptation of the Persephone-Hades myth. I liked how truly unique the retelling was and that it moved the focus away from romance to a strong mother-daughter relationship (and Demeter wasn't portrayed as overbearing or awful! She's just a concerned mother!). The art is lovely and gives some strong Miyazaki meets Noelle Stevenson vibes, but is unique all to itself.

It's a quick read, and I recommend it if you just want something to escape to for an hour or two.
