I never really liked this as a child. I like it more now, but I think it's an odd children's book, much more so than Chris Van Allsburg's other books, which may look like odd children's books, but I had an absolute passion for them as an actual child.
I remember looking at the pages of this book in awe. The illustrations were beautifully done. I enjoyed this book as a child.
I loved this book, it was part of my childhood. I loved it so much. It's 100% worth the read in my opinion.
Maybe because I saw the animated movie first, I liked that better than the book, but still, the idea of the story and especially the author's message at the end is something wonderful and classic.
Not sure how I have never read this before, but the illustrations are beautiful.
I have always loved this story. I would beg my mom to read it as soon as Thanksgiving was over. I still read it every Christmas:)
