I want to thank Netgalley and the publishers for allowing me to review this audiobook. Witch, I will be giving my honest and sincere review. The audio itself was amazing in the voices of Ben Bailey and Nneka Okoye. They really brought characters to life.
Just a quick disclaimer for binge eating and body dysmorphia.

Wholesome Christmas read. A beautiful YA romance with a tearing wordy Christmas miracle, this book hooked me from the beginning. We get to know the owners of independent bookshops passed through generations, fearing the door having to shut through the crisis of having to compete with modern Bookstores. Tray does what he can to help but the sales are dropping daily, until fate brings Ariel a shy and introverted young painter to his store, since her fathers passing she succumbs in her art not allowing her to do much else facing a financial struggle threatening her future scholarship she goes to Treys bookstore for a job to help her enter a gallery show, things easily get comfortable between them, but Trey has a girlfriend and Ariel has body image issues impeding her from being herself son of bookshop wonderland cross.

Last but not least I gave it, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was released on Oct 03 2023 a Christmas book you definitely will need

Honestly, it was when one of the main Characters said Twilight was the greatest love story ever. I knew this was not for me.

Are you looking for a gift-wrapped escape, perfect for curling up by the fire during the holiday season? Or at any time of the year, really. Love in Winter Wonderland by Abiola Bello transports readers into the enchanting world of a London Black-owned bookshop called Wonderland.

Meet Trey Anderson. Charming and handsome, he juggles the pressures of school popularity with his job at the beloved local bookstore. Meet Ariel Spencer. Quirky and creative, she dreams of attending the prestigious art program but lacks the necessary tuition. When an opportunity arises at Wonderland, Ariel sees it as her chance to make her dreams come true.

However, there's a twist: Wonderland faces imminent closure due to neighbourhood gentrification. Trey and Ariel join forces to prevent the doors from shutting forever before the Christmas Eve deadline. As they work together, will their relationship evolves from animosity to something deeper?

The cozy London bookshop, with its shelves of stories and secrets, becomes a character in itself. Bello weaves in critical topics such as the importance of indie bookstores, the impact of gentrification, body diversity, and grief over losing a parent. This story perfectly captures the magic of love, community, and the power of a good book.

Thank you to NetGalley and Soho Press for a temporary e-ARC in exchange for my honest review.

it was cute and cozy but lets be real as much as the book tried to make trey’s gf a villain, he was still basically borderline cheating on her the whole time and thats not cool!

Fantastisch! Heerlijk kerstgevoel. Lekkere korte hoofdstukken. Ariel en Trey zijn heel leuke en lieve karakters.
Ik heb continu geluisterd met een glimlach op met gezicht. Heel hartverwarmend!
