Okay so the first half of this book from Elios dad's (Sammy)'s perspective, was super uncomfortable and hard for me to get through. Even when it switched to Elio's perspective I do feel like the book got a lot better and enjoyable but the whole book still felt very prevented and uneasy, which should have been expected, so maybe that was my fault. Anyways, the book had a lot of quotes that stuck with me and was still a good book, either than the fact that every couple in this book has the same age difference between a parent and child, it was romantic and well written.
