I loved it. Such a good prequel, it makes you want to read the whole series in one sitting, which is what I'm going to do. Ali and Courtney have such an odd yet very interesting relationship, and it would have been a lot more exciting to have some kind of POVs. I also enjoyed noticing the differences and similarities between the series and the actual books, which I should have read long before watching the show. On to the next one...

Es bastante curioso que la precuela sea uno de los mejores libros de la saga.

All it took was a bloody pandemic to make me nostalgic over the confusing but fun plot lines of PLL.
The book - heck, the whole series - is such a cathartic experience. The characters are annoying and downright slapable but my god do they help me “purge” these hostile emotions. It’s like watching Midsommar and you can’t really root for anyone in particular but what a wild ride and look at that questionable smile at the end.
The book is a good pit stop to remind readers most of the plot. I remember the old twin switcheroo. After years of thinking X or Y was A, only to have a twin sister plot dangling at the end was a twistiest of plots/u>
