Hmmmm. I enjoyed it and read it in a morning. It is clever and violent. However, a LOT happens in not a lot of pages - you get Nora's whole history, her relationship with Iris and Wes and their history, and then the robbery itself, and then Nora's relationship with her sister... It's a lot to take in and it gets to be a bit much. It feels like you are reading two books happening in parallel. I don't think the robbery was the right thing for the author to use for Nora to tell us her story. I could have read a whole book on just Nora's past and how it all gets unpacked through her new relationships with her sister and friends.

I'm not used to reading books without magic and fae, kingdoms and wars but i found this book really interesting despite all that.

I like how the author gives us small pieces of information about Nora's past and leaves it to us to put the pieces together.

Can't wait for the movie that's going to come out in 2024 or 2025 (i think) with Millie Bobby Brown!
