Ho...ly...shit. This book was a whirlwind and it was so f*cked up and there was so much going on and I put my entire day on hold to sit down and just listen to the whole thing from beginning to end.
Nora (Rebecca, Samantha, Haley, Katie, Ashley...) is my favorite kind of protagonist: she's prickly and a little cold and in over her head and independent and so smart (both people-smart and street smart) and more than a little bit queer. And she's so vulnerable but it takes us a long time to really see it. And the supporting cast... Both Iris and Wes were so real and raw and perfect for peeling back Nora's armor while also not just letting themselves be swept up by her.
And the flashbacks... The choice to tell some sections out of order... Having each "present day" section outline Nora's resources and thought process... Seeing what each name means... Ugh.
Plus the (very inclusive) list of resources at the end and the discussion of endometriosis. And badass bisexual main and secondary characters. This is My kind of book, y'all. And if you can, I recommend listening to the audiobook.

OHMYGOSH I loved this book it was gripping and emotional and vulnerable and the main characters were not cheesy and all amazing in their own ways! It felt almost like a mystery because it kept jumping back and forth in time and I literally couldn't put this book down. Read it!!!!!!!!
