This is the first EVER Poirot book that I dnf. I don't mind slow start but I can't stand that b*tch sarah king. I am very confident that ms christie had an immense hatred towards her own sex & flagrant case of internalised misogyny that almost every female characters she wrote were infuriating. God, sarah king is just as b*tchy as that narrator nurse in murder in mesopotamia. Gosh.

To all women authors out there, you simply can't write your female characters to be extremely annoying (that even if the gender is reverse will still be as revolting) & then cry misogyny when your readers hate it. Write better, hun.

Interesting characters but I didn't really care for how the mystery resolved. This is one of the ones where Christie's upper class Britishness is really apparent.

The topic was quite interesting and the reveal was really intriguing
I thought that Ginevra would be the killer but it was the random lady. That was a bit meh since it felt like Agatha Christie had to choose a killer and didn't want to sacrifice the characters that she liked. Still I'm happy that Nadine and Lennox ended up happily and I'm also happy for Sarah and Raymond
As always this book was also quite racist and also the way they treated older people who were fatter was so disgusting. So keep that in mind. It was still fun and I read it in one sitting.
