3.5 stars.
I really liked the characters and thought the message was extremely important to de-stigmatize HIV but the writing was at times clunky and more telling than showing. I'd still be interested in his future books.

This book was so powerful. I loved the way it highlighted the importance of support systems and strong friendships in the face of difficulty and also how it broke down stigmas surrounding HIV.

I can't stop thinking about how good this book is. I'll spill it all out on an full review, but for now, I'll say this with all the love and conviction: ADD THIS TO YOUR TBR PILE FOR PRIDE. You won't regret it!
