The book blurb is more interesting than the story itself. So much action and excitement! Ummm.... where did that go? While I can appreciate Bruen's writing style, this story is a hot mess. How Mysterious Press ever landed on this story as the inaugural story for the Bibliomysteries series is a mystery to me. Not only is it not a mystery, the book element is practically non-existent. Pass on this one. Hopefully others in the series are more rewarding.
