Ok I read this book in 8th grade probably 15 years ago, and was trying so hard to remember the name of the book and I finally found it

I think the first book was good. The relationship between Tristan and Ivy should have been played up more. I didn't feel any connection between them so when it came time for the second book, I didn't believe that Tristan loved Ivy so much that he would spend what little afterlife he had trying to save her. Come third book, well, I glimpse-read the third book. I kind of figured out the 'mystery' during the second book and then the third book felt... too long. It could have been cut in half and I think that it would have been just fine. A lot of the thickness of this trilogy seemed unimportant. There were a lot of scenes that I felt like weren't necessary and then the scenes that were important weren't descriptive enough.

so, if you like reading about angels, the afterlife, ghosts, and or a love story, then you'll enjoy this. It wont be memorable, that's for sure but I don't regret reading it. I just wont ever read it again.

I loved this book! It was short, cute, a bit depressing in parts, and was beautifully written. Amazing!

really liked this book! it was so cute how Tristan got to come back and watch over Ivy. It seemed alittle weird how the author made Will and Ivy fall in-love, even though they barely spoke throughout the entire book. If anything, Will should have been in-love with Beth because they spent the most time together and Beth knew him better. it got kinda boring at times ( especially during Tristan's point of view) and i didnt really understand why Gregory wanted to kill Ivy. first of all, Shouldn't he be trying to kill philip since he's the one who's stealing all of his fathers attention? Ivy didnt really receive much attention from Andrew in the first place. and that part where Maggie claimed that Ivy killed the cat. WHAT KIND OF MOTHER IS SHE? if your daughter is practically having a stroke over someone killing her cat that she had for years, shouldn't you believe her? this book frustrated me but all in all it was a good read. 3.5 stars

I read this book as a very angsty pre-teen and I was obsessed. Don’t know if it was actually good, but I do still think about it a lot. I definitely only read it because of the authors name and the cover had Twilight vibes

5/5 for young Chandler

Meh. Spoilers!

You know. Boy loves girl. Girl doesn't think boy loves girl. Girl and boy fall in love. Tragedy. Woe is me, I WILL NEVER LOVE ANOTHER!
Oh wait, maybe I'll love this guy.
But probably not.
I think I love this guy instead.

Oh wait I'm 16 and don't have a clue.

Meanwhile all sorts of really awful things happen and nobody seems to be able to figure it out.

Tragic.

Yet, I read all three.

Huh.
