I just got back from Copenhagen a week ago and it was so fun to relive the memories. I loved the city so much and felt at peace while I was there. Maybe it was the hygge all along! 😄
This book is almost 500 pages in my language, but I flew through it within two days. It was so easy to read, a perfect cosy & simple read. You get what you would expect from book like this, but I quite enjoyed it, even made me giggle sometimes! 😊
Katie as a FMC had potential (oldest sister who feels responsible for her whole family, carrierist ect.) but this book being the book that it is did not dive into those topics and everything magically got resolved by the end. The romance was okay, but the relationship didn't seem true to their caracters at times.

It was a fun book to read together with my boyfriend although it was more of us laughing at some of the ridiculousness of the book than the actual content of the book.
Some of the sentences and dialogue were very unnatural and made us very confused of times. The usual predictable conflict of 'oh no, a misunderstanding happened and instead of communicating I'm going stay mad until proven otherwise'. Also the epilogue was terrible. It didn't feel like an ending at all. It seemed to be there just so people were hyped because their relationship worked somehow. The side characters were way more fun while interacting with the MC than the actual romantic pair.
One positive thing i can say, the author is GOOD at describing Danish pastries and the cozy feeling overall of Copenhagen. In such a way that me and my boyfriend gain a new appreciation to the city. We are actually thinking of travelling there someday.
