It was good to re-visit these short stories involving Harry Bosch.
The narration was fine but at times a little annoying as he could tend to sound like a newsreader and the portrayal of female voices weren't the best.

I stumbled upon this short story collection and was so impressed by Michael Connelly's writing that I cant wait to begin the Harry Bosch series. I loved the engaging plot of these stories, the interesting characters, and spots of humor and sentimentality woven throughout the intrigue of the storyline. A super entertaining read.
Another solid set of Bosch short stories from Michael Connelly. Each one enjoyable in its own way. The title story Angle of Investigation really stood out to me because you get to see rookie Harry Bosch in a flashback and it has Bosch's best partner, Kiz Rider, as a supporting character. These cases are more straightforward than the longer novels, but they give you more insight into Harry's backstory ad character.
Enjoyed these short stories that fill holes in the Harry Bosch history.
Mi duole il cuore dare tre stelline al mio mito.. Perché senza dubbio i tre racconti sono scritti bene; Però sono estremamente brevi, le indagini -se così vogliamo chiamarla- si risolvono in pochi passaggi e tutto finisce prima ancora di essere entrati nel vivo della storia. Io amo gli altri libri di Connelly perché sa come tenere alta la tensione, Harry è un gran personaggio.. E invece qui non c'è nulla di tutto ciò,. Harry è l'ombra di sé stesso: per carità, sempre geniale, ma non ha spazio materiale per agire!
Collection of three short stories. If you are Connelly fan, as am I, you will like them, especially since they all feature Bosch. My favorite was the first as it shows a very human side of Bosch and more back story about his war years. Great saxophone story. But enough spoiling.
Thank goodness this is considered a whole book even though it's very short. I need to pad my total of books read this year to meet my goal. Ridiculous. Next year I won't be so frigging ambitious and read only 1000 page tomes.
