Trippy af. A child has horrific visions that his baby brother will be replaced by another baby that is growing in a wasp's nest. It all kind of falls apart at the end -- the story, not the best -- but still a wild book.
this book was crazy bizarre and scary. fast paced and well written, it scared the bejeepers out of me.
I like a good physiological thriller, however this one didn't work for me. I think having the Mc being so young and dealing with such adult issues and then those creepy wasps.
Middle fiction horror, I guess. I have recommended it to my granddaughters as weird and creepy.
