Translation sucked, but, I still enjoyed the book and definitely wasn't expecting the ending. This story is still in my mind a week later.

To chyba koniec. I wiecie co? Jest mi trochę, minimalnie, smutno z tego powodu. Wierzcie mi, ale wyszukiwanie największych błędów logicznych w fabule tej książki dawało mi sporo frajdy.
Jeśli ciekawi mnie jaka była najgorsza dla mnie scena w całej trylogii to...nie, nie był to seks. Serio. To jak autorka nawiązała do motywu głowy konia z oryginalnego "Ojca chrzestnego...nie mogłam spać. Nie do końca odpowiada mi to, że Massimo na końcu został zdegradowany do roli okrutnego, czarnego charakteru. Z jednej strony lubię Nacho, ale z drugiej nie do końca podobał mi się finał tej historii. Zdecydowanie plusem tej historii było to, że Laura przeważnie wiedziała, czego chce. Nie rumieniła się, nie miała żadnej wewnętrznej bogini czy innej podświadomości i nie strzelała na faceta focha, bo ten dał jej klapsa na jej prośbę.
Oczywiście nadal nie uważam tego za dobrą książkę, ale w sumie w tej części było najwięcej akcji (rodem z kina gangsterskiego klasy B), więc uważam, że jest najlepsza z całej trylogii. Momentami naprawdę byłam zaskakiwana zwrotami akcji.

Al final del libro dice la moraleja, pero la verdad si querías mostrar esa moraleja podías acabarlo en un libro. No extenderme la historia hasta llegar al punto de saltarme párrafos.

So I originally wasn’t going to read the third book, but my friend said it was the best one. Well, she’s right! This one was night and day different than the second book. I also see only very slight similarities to the third movie (the movie was awful)!

I was really excited to receive an arc for this book as I have followed both the series on Netflix and also as books! Jumping right back into the world of these two rather stubborn characters, I was filled with anxiety about how the characters could redeem themselves and see if they still had a chance to end up together in the end.
While the films translated the story fairly well, there were definitely moments within the book that I had to read a few times until I understood what it meant. The characters can sometimes come off as overly stubborn that it almost made me roll my eyes but you can’t help but kind of love them at the same time.
One thing I definitely feel like this book needs is trigger warnings at the beginning for some of the topics mentioned or covered within the book. Some readers may not mind but others may.
Overall this book was good, I’m very grateful that I got to read it and enjoy Laura and Massimo’s story once more!
