It’s clear that I enjoyed this book just based on how fast I read it. The author Karen Dionne did a beautiful job at explaining the surroundings in perfect detail creating a exact picture in your mind. I instantly became engulfed and wanted to know what was going to happen next. I love how it switched from past to present, it really helped the storytelling! Highly recommend for those of you who like thrillers.

This book is beautifully written but for me that was really all that was positive. This is the story of a woman who born by a woman who was kidnapped. Reading the synopsis I was excited to read it because it sounded right up my street. Unfortunately, it was not a thriller nor very exciting to me.

I rather enjoyed the book. of course as soon as ib finished it I watched the movie which was a huge disappointment due to the number of changes. as always the book was better.

Between the narcocistic grooming father, brutalized kidnapped woman and their brave and brilliant daughter, it was a very good story.
