Random Thoughts:

I heard about the infamous gang bang scene but I didn’t realize it was so close to the end of this massive story! Woah! Crazy choice!

The Stand uses its length much better. Shit, Under the Dome probably does too!

Bill is so boring, new protagonist please. He’s gotta be the worst King lead I’ve read so far.

Dinosaurs in a King novel? Hype. The scene dinosaurs are in during this? Hype. The whole chapter the dinosaurs are in? Hype.

Wants to be a summer book so bad but I think it’s giving autumnal.

I thought that starting with the adults getting the call/subsequent dread of their return to Derry was such a great way to get me to give a fuck about what happened when they were young regardless of if I’ve seen both adaptations of it before reading it. The back and forth between kids and adults got a little tiresome but it was a primo move for the opening.

Kicking my feet and biting my lower lip in anticipation for my rewatch of the original miniseries.
