How? How is a debut this dang good? It kept me up way past my bedtime because I wouldn't not just couldn't put it down. You think this is a bully romance? It is but it's way more than that. A thrilling plot and characters that are so complex you never see what they do coming. For a debut this not only delivered on the damn thing, it blew my mind and I'm already aching for not only the next book in this series but every other little thing she'll bring out. An ARC was provided to me for review. My opinion is my own and hasn't been influenced in any way.

The rehashing of certain scenes in Poe's POV was repetitive. I really don't think his POV was needed at all, actually. Also, I don't get the whole, almost secret society/cult-ish ways of the founding family/heirs thing.

I loved this book! It was a little dark, a little sexy, and a little twisty. And that ending though!

Read it!

Wow! How is this her debut book?! I couldn't put this book down. Read it in one sitting. I loved that Stella wasn't a typical FMC that was hardened & overly bitter by her life. And Poe, man he moved right up to the top 5 of book boyfriends. Not your typical rich boy MC. Just the right amount of cocky without arrogance. Empathetic & loyal, not a flashy & entitled rich boy. So refreshing to read characters who aren't the normal cookie cutter. And those secondary characters! I need more of Sunday & the guys. Some of these books can seem like repeats with the same character traits & familiar storyline but not this one. Seriously such a great read
