Una tarde de lluvia y un novela corta sobre un Egipto con tecnología pseudoindustrial impulsada por magia procedente de criaturas del folklore islámico y djinns. ¡Me apunto! No me sorprendería ver que este universo de arquitectura neofaraónica, steampunk y coexistencia de diversas entidades sobre naturales viera una expansión hacia una novela propiamente diga, o una saga. ¡Echemos un vistazo a este agradable descubrimiento, La maldición del tranvía 015!

3.5 stars. I really enjoy this world and was looking forward to a longer story set in it. But given the much higher stakes and more interesting characters in the first story, A Dead Djinn in Cairo, this story was just okay for me. The two inspector characters, Hamed and Onsi, weren’t as well developed, so I didn’t have as much investment in their fates. And for the life of me, I didn’t understand how one tram car was so important that it would be worth so much expense and risk to exorcise. With that said, I'd still love to read a full-length novel, or even another novella, set in this world.
