My god, what a treasure of a book. Making History is a collection of firsthand accounts from people heavily involved in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights - people who were at Stonewall when the riots happened, people who founded some of the first queer activist organizations in the US, etc. I'm so grateful that the names and stories of these people will be remembered. In a day and age when basic civil rights are actively being taken away from the queer community, this book is an important reminder from those who came before us to not back down from fighting for what we deserve.
