I liked this one better than Truly Madly Guilty. Good premise and plot twist at the end.

I kept thinking, "that bitch!" and "I want to go on a health retreat where they secretly slip drugs into my smoothie!!!!!"

While the book got off to a slow start, the ending raced. The twisted events in Nine Perfect Strangers were shocking and unexpected. I started to put the book aside when I was about a third of the way through, but I’m glad I didn’t.

I honestly have no idea how I feel about this book, to be honest.
It got off to a super slow start, and I thought about abandoning it several times. Once things picked up a bit at about page 200, I was invested enough to read more but I still wast super impressed.
And then around page 350 everything changed so suddenly. It was a weird change that I didn’t expect.
I think maybe if I hadn’t gone in with the expectation that this book would be a thriller (which is what my library has it classified as), then I might have been less disappointed with the pacing of the book.

I really liked Liane Moriarty’s writing and the plot of this one. I do think near the end it tittered off but overall I really enjoyed this. The tv show with Nicole Kidman is coming out soon and I’m really excited!
