This book is so FUN! Verity heads for Hollywood to appear on a dance reality show and has to combine all her time on camera with stopping a snake cult. I liked how much and how well she works with others here: Dominic is a constant and (surprisingly) welcome presence, and Malena and Pax are great additions to the team. That is not to forget Alice, Verity's grandma, who shows up to be super badass. I had an absolute blast with the book, and the wonderful Aeslin mice were a sweet bonus!

This one gets 4 stars for the mystery being less obvious than some of the others in the series.

Wow! Middle got a little slow for me, but wow did it pick up! I was able to guess two of the villians, but the others were a complete shock! I love how I'll be screaming or crying in one sentence and laughing the next. Love this series! I also really wanted to see all the dances she does...

Still enjoying this series very much. I find myself more worried about the mice through the various hazards than anyone else, but that's not new, the mice are adorable. It was fun re-visiting Verity, but now I'm definitely ready for more of Antimony.

Verity's back! I loved seeing a take on So You Think You Can Dance, and all the drama backstage. The stakes are raised beautifully, though I'm not sure about the decision made at the end.

This one started off slowly, but got really good once the bodies started coming.

As with the other books in the InCryptid series, Chaos Choreography is fun, action packed and well written. Verity stories are always a treat, since she's that quintessential urban fantasy fighter lady that will parkour and high-kicks her way around the plot, and I like that very much. But this time we get to spend some time with Alice and, gods, Alice is the best. She's tough and deadly, as any other woman in her family, but she's also wise and has this vicious loyalty. I dearly want more Alice in this series.
That said, the story holds up, but feels like it could have been condensed into a novella. Even with the author's nice gesture of just skipping most of the dancing part, there are plenty of scenes that seem to be there just to establish characters that aren't really important, which makes the pacing a bit off. The time jumps also happens to make Verity feel really blind/out of her game for not seeing what was going on sooner, which might actually be the intention and still doesn't makes for good reading.
It's not the best book in the series, but there is Alice, and not-so-good InCryptid is still better than most urban fantasy.

Quite enjoyed this. Good mix of fluff and adventure.

4.5 stars. It's irritating that the copy editing problem seems to have spread to this series, too. But a fun romp nevertheless.
