Clever and moving, this dark novel transports the reader. The language is beautiful, including lines I want to write down on little notes and hide around my apartment to stumble upon for a bit of warmth in winter.

I did not have high hopes going into reading this. But, as I consequently did do, you should never judge a book by its cover!

The intrigue of finding out who the killer was towards the end was AMAZING! I did not expect it even though some may say it’s obvious haha!

Overall, much better than I thought. I read this in English and found it very accessible. Little slow in places but I see this as emulating the rural village life. Loved the use of astrology also!
