Aconsellat per una amiga he entrat a aquesta novel·la que es llegeix molt bé, molt de pressa. Cal dir que tan l'amiga, com jo, com la protagonista de la novel·la compartim un amor profund pels animals, i un despreci total cap als caçadors, cosa que ja va facilitar que m'endinsés fàcilment en aquesta zona polonesa que sembla un petit paradís de muntanya.
A més, el relat té una petita part de novel·la negra, cosa que jo agraeixo molt.

I wanted to love the book, due to the writing and the astrology and murder mystery vibe, but ended up not liking the boob for the same reasons. Perhaps the translation is to blame, but I found the writing style incredibly stiff, unnatural and rather pretentious. The astrology elements became irrelevant and tedious. 
I did however like the "vengeful nature" part.

This book was just delicious to sink into. The narrator is so eccentric and odd in the best way—her sharp observations and strange little world had me hooked. I loved how slow and eerie the pacing felt, like something unsettling was always creeping under the surface. It’s darkly funny, beautifully atmospheric, and honestly? My favorite read of the entire year
