This book was... Interesting? I must say that there was some irrelevant details what I don't have to know but there are very pretty illustrations and reading it was very rellaxing..

It reminded me of my father's disjointed recollections about his life. Nothing wrong with that, but I wouldn't call it a strong book.

An OK biography that was a bit more interesting because of the California retrospective than the actual biography. I suspect those who don't have older family members who grew up in this period may not care for it as much.
