I had heard so many mixed reviews on this one so I thought I’d read it for myself. So many people criticized this for having some moments that made them roll their eyes at the situation the characters were forced into. Totally agree with some of that, but for me I went into it with low expectations and so was pleasantly surprised at the pacing of this book. Overall this read like a cheesy rom com that I can’t help but to actually like. Not top literature or anything, but fun!

O slowburn bem construído... eu adorei. Mas acho que a autora tava obcecada com o fato do Adam ser alto... enfim, era tudo que eu precisava no momento

3.5 stars! This was such a funny romance read. A grad student and professor who get stuck in a fake dating relationship. Olives life made me laugh & her personality is fantastic! I only wish the chapters also gave us Adam’s POV as well. Most of the book was pretty predictable but still an interesting lighthearted read!

omg ok yes. i really loved this book. i was looking for a cute, cheesy, romance book and this was exactly that. i normally don't totally love the female leads in books like this but i loved olive. she was so cute and funny and SMART?????? love a woman in stem. and of course i loved adam. he was the classic book boyfriend: good looking, tall, pretty much perfect in every way, had a slightly traumatic past that makes him an asshole, you know. such a cute read, very sciency, would read again
