I can’t say I’ve read a lot of romance books, but this is a banger. I have no notes, only love and admiration.

It was just kinda meh. Olive was kinda annoying. At least it was free from the library.

So cute! I really enjoyed the dynamic. I found that the main character’s reasoning for doing erratic things wasn’t completely unbelievable - we all do silly things when trying our best in life! Also, I loved that the lifestyle of a grad wasn’t totally incorrect: for example, she only saw her fake boyfriend about once a week because she had NO TIME. I love how the author tackled issues that occur for women in academia and science. I will say that some scenes had a weird habit of being 50% relatable and 50% cringy based on the word choices, which really took me out of it. Rounding down just a smidge.

Put this off for so long but enjoyed it immensely. Totally understand the popularity and fake dating is one of my favourite tropes.

As a third year graduate student, this one hit even closer to home than Love, Theoretically did. I can relate to Olive in a lot of ways, and is really fun reading a book that takes place in an environment you know really well.

I squealed multiple times reading this book and loved the relationship between Olive and Adam.

You can never change my mind about this book. I won't hear any slander
