Maybe later I’ll change from 5 starts to 4 stars because I change my mind a lot but probably not because I loved this book.
Read this in 2 days, got me out of my horrible reading slump and it was just amazing and so much better than we were liars!
Super fast paced, short chapters and loads of plot twists.
This duology does not deserve the hate it gets and I loved this book and am finally motivated to read more

I really enjoyed this book although not as much as the first one. I was able to see the twist coming this time around. I appreciate that it’s a prequel and the reader gains insight into the Sinclair family dynamic. I would recommend, but only if you read We Were Liars first and enjoyed it.
i liked we were liars so much, i just had to buy this one too. family of liars is a thrilling book again. i couldn’t stop reading the book. i might have liked this one more (but that could have been because i understood the storyline from the beginning, since this is the second part). i highly recommend this book! loved it!!
This book broke me. It shattered my heart into a million pieces over and over again. I don’t understand what it’s like to lose a sibling (thank God) but I can relate how Carrie acted towards her sister. I cried when i read the last few pages of the book when Rosemary is too tired and it just made m think how fast things could change.
To all the fellow readers and anyone out there reading this review right now:
Spend more time with your family, tell them you love them. Make the most memories even if it’s just talking or sitting in the same room and doing your own thing. Cherish those moments because you don’t want to live a life without them.
