I think I did the wrong thing and read this book straight after i read the first one because I got a bit bored towards the end. I was really interested in the first 200 pages but by the end I just wanted to move on to another book
dark emotional fast-paced

Absolutely loved this book!
mysterious tense

Idk what it is about this island and the Sinclair's but I eat it up every time.

I didn't really know what this was going to be about since I bought it a few minutes after I finished "We Were Liars" and never looked up what it was about but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought that Carrie's story would be boring but it actually explained a lot of things. We don't get to know that much about the three sisters from Cadence's pov bec she's with the liars most of the time but I think through this story it shows they're relationship clearly and what through a wrench in it to make it the mess it is today. It also explains their wariness towards pills and the woman Tipper truly was besides her memory.

I also just love the rich family and all their drama, doesn't matter what they do I love them all.

I read We Were Liars in a day last summer. I listened to the audiobook for Family of Liars so it took me a bit longer to get through. Overall the story was decent if not pretty predictable. It was fairly easy for me to guess the couple of twists at the end. I struggled with most of the characters who are so emotionally stunted and difficult. Yardley Rosemary were the MVPs though. It’s a binge-able read but also not spectacular either.
