So I feared this book wouldn’t come close to book two but once I got into it I literally loved it all! I love their relationship and usually I’m not a big friends to lovers but this one felt more like they were always lowkey lovers basically soulmates. So it was so sleazy to fall in love with them and watch as everything unfolded. I loved all of the scenes!
3.5 stars
This one was much different from the first two books in this series. The first half was probably a solid 3 stars (i found it a bit boring, and the chemistry between the two mcs was not as compelling as in books 1 and 2), but the second half was a four star, and i love this series so i'm rounding up.
This was a friends to lovers, which i would normally swear up and down is a trope that I like, but it wasn't as good to me as the dynamics in the first two books. but one thing about elsie silver is she is gonna DELIVER on the spice.
anyways. lots of angst and mutual pining (me screaming just kiss already at these two from like page 1), boss hockey player mmc, fmc who gets to reclaim her identity from her overbearing father/shitty ex-fiance, theres only one bed trope, etc. etc.

Was very emotionally driven, intense. Love to see personal growth, but still a lot of sex that im not looking for right now. Friends to lovers also isn’t my favorite trope but they did an excellent job still making it a thrill to read

Definitely my least favourite of the series so far. It was boring IMO
