informative lighthearted fast-paced

I attempted NaNoWriMo last year, but only made it through part of week 2. I really don't think the process is for me, since it puts me in the same stressful mindset that I was in when I was writing my graduate thesis. I think it will be more approachable for me to start with writing short stories and try to expand them later. 

Still, this is a good companion book with lots of excellent tips. It just wasn't enough to help me in particular.
