I enjoyed this. It wasn’t perfect, Diem was slightly annoying and very oblivious. But I enjoyed her journey in this book, her grief and trying to hold her own. But Luther was definitely the saving grace of the book. Already obsessed with him and I’m ready for the slow burn to consume me. Nervous to start the next book since I’ve heard Diem is worse 🥲

Love, love, love! From start to finish, the pacing kept me hooked, never dragging but allowing just enough time to fully immerse in the world and its characters. Speaking of characters—I loved them all. Each one felt fully realized, with depth and personality that made them easy to connect with. The story itself was engaging, blending action, emotion, and intrigue in a way that made it hard to put down. I’m already counting down the days until the second book releases because I need more! Highly recommend this one to fantasy lovers.
