The whole time I was reading this book I was thinking about how good it would be as a Disney movie.I thought it was super cute was easy to fly through. My only real problem with this book was that I could tell you the whole plot and how it would end (with the moral lessons and everything) before I even read the book. At 20, I have seen the "The grass is always greener on the other side, until I had a dream/am in an alternate dimension and realize it is not" done a million times in movies and tv shows, which just made the book a little repetitive. If I was in middle school and had not already seen this story line played out so many times, I think I would have absolutely loved this book. Not saying this as if I didn't enjoy this book, because I really did, just not as much as I would have in middle school.

I loved this book! Jessica brody always knows the assignment and she's one of my fave authors ATM.
In Some Other Life by Jessica Brody is one of those awesome parallel life kind of stories. Click here for my full review.

Girl has a life. Girl falls and hits her head. Girl wakes up a completely different person. Girl cannot seem to grasp this concept (even though her brother is obsessed with parallel universes and talks about them constantly). Girl keeps making ridiculous remarks because she still is trying to merge old life with new one. Girl is stupid.
Okay, I get being confused about waking up a completely different person. I imagine how I would be if this were me. However, at what point do you stop questioning everything and start asking why and how?
The paragraph that made me close this book forever:
"My clothes are gone. My T-shirts, my jeans, even my dad's old leather jacket. They've all been replaced by stuff I've never seen before. Dresses, skirts, sparkly tops, and...
I stifle another gasp.
Windsor Academy Uniforms!"
Kennedy, you just freakin' did a bunch of stuff that's not normal. You're wearing a Windsor Academy uniform, you've already learned you're living this life now. What the actual heck has to happen for you to accept this crap?
I usually just delete books that I don't finish because I don't want them clogging up my read list, but this one deserved a special review because the main character was soooooo dumb.

So many life lessons can be learned from this book. The ending was absolutely perfect and was so satisfying. The only thing keeping me from giving this book 5 stars is the beginning. It's too slow and takes a while to find it's footing. Other than that I thought this book was extremely creative and interesting. I recommend giving it a try.
A book that shows how our choices define us but they can ultimately be the right choice ... even if it doesn’t feel that way at the time.
This book really hit home because I’ve been questioning a lot of choices I’ve made in the past and I really do believe that things that are meant to be will happen, no matter what choices we might make at any given time. But we also have to realize how our choices impact the people around us.
I definitely recommend this book if you’re looking to read something about self discovery.
