I’m really torn about this rating, I really wanted to absolutely love this book and rate it 5 stars but there was just something missing for me. Don’t get be wrong I enjoyed it more than ACOTAR and enjoyed reading it but I didn’t get that feeling (iykyk).

If I had to pinpoint my two areas where I wanted more they would be:
1. SJM does some well written but obvious foreshadowing so I wasn’t floored by any of the plot twists. I more-so just enjoyed the information and foreshadow circles being closed. This is probably the biggest reason, as I love being floored by a revelation and immediately want to go back and figure out how the author had foreshadowed this.
2. When major and potentially actioned packed moments happen it can be hard to follow the narrative. Largely because I find she becomes less descriptive and writes in short sentences. So it takes me out of the moment having to re read to fill in the description gaps.

All that said, I still had a really fun time and can’t wait to jump into the next one!

If I could give this book all the stars on starfall (iykyk) I would. Five is not enough to give this book justice. If perfection was a book this would be it. I don’t know how Sarah managed to make this book better then the first but she did.

Really good adventure,  a story about love, friendship and family. I loved seeing Feyre grow as an individual, and she doesnt just act like a character with "stockholm syndrome." I like how there is so much detail to the worlds, and the complexity of each character history. It really brings the magic alive. Im to see how the adventure continures.
