Persephone was my least favorite character in this book. I loved the worlds the author created and the characters in them were so intriguing-would have loved to read more about everyone else!
I agree with other reviews that the story dragged…I liked the premise but did not find myself feeling a sense of urgency to finish.
I think in another authors hands this book could have been turned into a really beautiful and exciting trilogy…there was so much magic in this book that was barely explained! I constantly found myself wondering if I missed some explanation but no…I was lost for much of the book!
The romance with Dorian was interesting but again it wasn’t developed enough and fell short for me…and then we’re expected to believe they have a heated make out sesh and then fall in love and end up together?! Idk…

The cover drew me in and I'm on a fall read kick so of course I grabbed this book! I loved the library of the lost that was honestly my favorite aspect of the book. The rest either didn't keep my attention like I wanted or confused me here and there. This was overall a great seasonal read with a wonderful found family and a bit of falling in love both with family and with partners. This was a good book just not my cup of tea.
