Cousin Eerie competes with and compliments Uncle Creepy
More horror fun from the folks that published Creepy magazine. Good, but nothing truly outstanding. No less than 4 of the 29 stories feature vampires. In addition, body horror, vengeful ghosts, mirror portals, elder gods, clinging vines, demons, witchcraft, werewolves, rats, mummies, and split personalities are featured. Ironic comeuppance and poetic justice are common themes. Highlights include a sorcerer hoisted by his own petard , and a story where the banality of everyday life becomes a nightmare!

Excellent collection of short horror and supernatural stories that could very easily be part of the "Twilight Zone" TV show.
Stories are short (but to the point) and varied, you have everything from ghouls and vampires to greedy people, lunatics and murderers.
Art is great, I was especially thrilled to see works of Al Williamson - his work is very reminiscent of Alex Raymond. it is wonderful to see true masters (though not maybe fully established when magazine was started) working on black and white panels and accomplishing a lot with shadings and playing around with the light effects.
Highly recommended for all fans of truly beautiful comic art and very interesting short horror stories.
