Jeg elsker udviklingen i Mias historie. Den startede ud som hed sex, tiltrækning og magtfulde mænd. Den har fået dybde og har tilvejebragt følelser, kærlighed, sorg og noget der får læseren til at føle. Der er mange små citater og brudstykker, som er værd at læse højt og gentage, simpelthen bare fordi de er så sigende og betydningsfulde i al sin enkelthed.
Det er en virkelig følelsesfuld afslutning af en modig forfatter. Det her, er ikke bare en afslutning med en dans på roser – “de levede lykkeligt til deres dages ende” eller lignende. Det her et livet på godt og ondt. Det er fantastisk og det gør ondt. Sådan er Mias historie også. Alle følelser er i spil. Det er en perfekt hjertevarmer til december måned.

A predictable ending to a series that started out with promise. The first few "months" were fun, but took a turn about half way through.

I truly loved this series and applaud Audrey for her writing and for this series.

Loved these stories. Read all the months and enjoyed the different flavor of the month and the story that went with it.
por fin se termino, bastante predecible un poco todo pero bueno ahi esta
O final perfeito pra série. ♥ Amei muito o rumo que as coisas tomaram. Acho que, no geral, dá pra dizer que apesar de ser composta por muitos livros, a história não se perdeu no meio do caminho. Dá pra perceber o quanto a Mia cresceu durante esse tempo. Também gostei bastante do final dos outros personagens.
The year has come to an end.. We discover answers from the past and we see what the future holds. This series needs to be read from start to finish to fully enjoy Mia's story. I could see where some might stop after a few months but you really need to continue until you get through December.
This was the perfect ending to the series! And once I finished it left me feeling happy with how everything for wrapped up. In this last episode Mia goes to a cabin in a mountain town to interview some local artists and spend Christmas there. Mia gets a surprise when she arrives there and there is one more issue to deal with. I could understand why she handled things the way she did and it must be difficult for her to deal with that. I did think it explained a lot and gave us one more piece to understand. A few things made a bit more sense now and I couldn't help but feel sorry for this person.
So there was one more issue for Mia to deal with and then there were the interviews with the local artist, but that was only a small part. For the most part this book is about the issue and besides that it's nicely wrapping up the series with a fun Christmas spent with her new family. It was heartwarming and made me happy to see her have her first Christmas tree and a fun holiday. I could really feel her happiness and I am so happy for Mia that after this whole journey she found her place. You could really feel her love and care for the people around there.
It was an uplifting and perfect ending to the series and the line Trust the Journey really fits. After everything she has been through it's great to see how she has changed and the new person she has become and how she's found her place. There is a sweet epilogue from Wes his point of view and then we get to see how all the other side characters are doing, which I thought was a great addition. As Mia meets so many people along the way and it was neat to see how everyone their life will continue afterwards.
To summarize: this was the perfect ending to the series. It made me feel happy and satisfied with how things ended. There's one more issue for Mia to deal with and I am glad we got that last piece as it did explain a few things and I thought it was handled realistically. It is a heartwarming and fulfilling ending to the series. I especially liked how we got to see how all the side characters Mia met throughout the books were doing at the end. And it's just so amazing to see how Mia has changed throughout this series and how she finally found love, family and a place to belong. All in all a great ending to this series!
