Steamy Sci-fi Cyborg Beauty and the Beast inspired alien romance story!

General Lucien/General Beast is a badass Khin  and has quite the reputation. While meeting with some space mages, his distaste for cyborgs gets him in trouble with a curse. One that takes turn love to turn him and his crew back to their former selves.

Elle is a bioengineer who is really skilled and trying to make some extra money to pay for the treatment of her fathers medication. When the opportunity to travel for the first time and work on a ship of Cyborg comes up that will pay more than she makes in a year, she cannot pass it up. General Beast grumpiness is off-putting but Elle is still intrigued regardless of his cyborg parts. In her motivation to do what's right for her father she put up with it, but feels a draw to him.

I love the crew on the ship and how much of a hard time they give General Beast! I also loved that we got to see Valentina, who is from one of Starlings other alien romance series! The romance was sexy and the pull they felt towards each other added to the romance of two unlikely people. What he was willing to give up for her was just too perfect!

Overall, this is a fun take on the classic story we know and love. I loved how we got to see more of the world and got introduced to some more characters that I am hoping get their own story! I am such a fan of the grumpy hero and I definitely think that love is from my love of the original Beauty and the Beast story. This is a steamy, cute and just fun read with great characters.

If you enjoy retellings, romance and HEA... you need to check out this quick read!

This story is definitely a bit crazy, but it's also a fun take on Beauty and the Beast set in space.

3.5 stars. The title for this one is self-explanatory - it is an human beauty and alien cyborg beast story. It is dual POV, well written and edited, and an enjoyable, though predictable story. I had fun reading it.
