This was a fascinating read.
It follows multiple POVs, a sick and dying man, a teenage and lovestruck girl, and Father Time.
This wasn't a long story, but it had a big message to convey, we are all only here for as long as we're meant to be, so appreciate the time you have.
This was sad and hopeful. The characters were tragically flawed but also likable.
This was worth the time to read.

I really enjoyed this book. It was very well written and very compelling (I finished it in less than 24-hours!) but honestly, it was not exactly what I was expecting. It was more like a parable than a novel and the point of this parable, while excellent, was a little... simple. But you know, it's the simple things that don't get talked about or said enough so I'm not complaining! A good read for anyone and I would definitely recommend it to a friend :)
“Try to imagine a life without timekeeping. You probably can’t. You know the month, the year, the day of the week. There is a clock on your wall or the dashboard of your car. You have a schedule, a calendar, a time for dinner or a movie. Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. an alone measures time. Man alone chimes the hour. And, because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out.”
