Didn’t actually finish this — didn’t properly realize, I think, that it was horror when I first got it out, and my goodness it’s well written, in a very creepy, unsettling, subtle way, and I just can’t bring myself to finish it, which is an excellent compliment to it, in a weird way. Back to the library with you, now that they’re accepting returns again!

I usually enjoy "no plot, just vibes" books, but this one didn't do it for me. The stories weren't as engaging as I had anticipated and the writing, although quite atmospheric, felt somewhat a little too pretentious to my liking. Cute cover, though.
