I read like 80% and we all know how romances end. I liked the setting and the title and cover but that's kind of it. The instant love was off putting, as was the constant explanation of Asian culture and food. It was just so white people pandering it grated on me.

Megan was my favorite character!! 😂

I read this in 24 hours. 3 stars - it was cute!

Dylan Tang works in his family run Chinese takeaway in China Town, USA, where his family try to scrape by to pay rent. Enter Theo Somers, an extremely rich and handsome guy, who meets Dylan when he delivers his takeaway. Dylan and Theo end up fake dating at a Somers family wedding in exchange for 5000 dollars to avoid the family business from closing.

It was a quick and easy read, plus lots of cute romantic moments.

This could have been sweet but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

It felt way too rushed, too Insta-lovey, and I didn't care about anything that happened because I didn't get to know the characters and their struggles. They just seemed like spoiled and overly dramatic brats for me.

The book would have benefited much if it had just taken more time to develop certain things.

This was somewhat cute? But I don't feel like either of the main characters knew each other that well? It seemed surface level. I did like the family and culture aspect of this
