This started out good and progressively seemed to get slower for the end to speed up. I didn’t feel connected to any of the characters and struggled at times but it was fine.

i really enjoyed the character given to the houses and locations, how they all felt dangerous in different ways. imo the last chapter wasn’t necessary, and pages dedicated to agnes’ self-absorption could be frustrating when i wanted to know more about the other characters.
