Hold ran out and I got frustrated with how the plot and growth stalled once Cliopher had gotten to the top and all that was left to do was get mad at his family for not valuing that he’s the second most powerful person in the world. Would kill for someone else to get a plot or a character arc.

DNF @ 3%. Something about the writing or this character feels really stiff? He seems like a workaholic with a stick up his butt and the book just hasn’t piqued my interest. More patience might be required than I currently have. Next.
